About this wiki
|
The Shareowner Activism Wiki is a place to learn about what you can do as a shareowner to effect change. Eric Jackson of Ironfire Capital launched this wiki, after successfully running activist campaigns in 2007 against Yahoo! and Motorola. In both cases, Eric drafted a "Plan B" for the companies and then put them up for edit and comment on a wiki. Fellow shareholders collaborated in making the plans much better for the target companies. The activist campaigns were successful in part because of this collaborative effort. Ironfire Capital is an activist hedge fund using this model of wiki collaboration on activist campaigns. You can read about, comment, and edit current Ironfire activist campaigns here. You can share your ideas with others and then rally support for them. Join an activist campaign or launch your own here.
